About Us

Practical Pathways Out Of Poverty

Foundation For Tomorrow is a grassroots nonprofit based in Nandi County, Kenya. We work directly with local communities to create sustainable pathways out of poverty through practical, inclusive, and community led interventions.

What We Do

Four Pillars, One Whole Community

Poverty is multidimensional. Our programs work together so that a child who eats well can learn well, and a household with income can keep that child in school.

Education & Youth Empowerment

We support children and youth to access education and develop the skills that prepare them for life and work, from uniforms and hygiene kits through to scholarships and STEM mentorship.

Nutrition & Community Wellbeing

We promote sustainable food security and improved nutrition through school gardens, household kitchen gardens, and practical nutrition education rooted in the community.

Women & PWDs Economic Empowerment

We equip women and persons with disabilities with practical skills, savings groups, and market linkages so they can build income and lasting financial independence.

Flagship Initiative

The TomorrowReady Schools Initiative

The TomorrowReady Schools Initiative is Foundation For Tomorrow's flagship program empowering vulnerable learners in Kenya. Guided by our core pillar of education, we ensure academic access, retention, and leadership development through essential school supplies, targeted scholarships, and practical mentorship focused on STEM and character building.

Hand in hand with learning, our nutrition pillar supports child health and cognitive development by establishing sustainable school gardens that tackle food insecurity directly within learning institutions, building a strong foundation for an empowered future generation.

  • Academic access and retention through uniforms, hygiene kits, and targeted scholarships
  • STEM and character mentorship that builds leadership alongside knowledge
  • Sustainable school gardens that tackle food insecurity where learning happens
Our Approach

Solutions Designed By The Community

We do not arrive with an answer. We arrive with a question, and we build what the community tells us it needs.

Local Ownership

Solutions are identified and designed by the community itself.

Skills Over Dependency

Equipping people with tools, knowledge, and dignity rather than temporary relief.

Inclusion & Accessibility

Prioritising women, youth, vulnerable children, and persons with disabilities.

Long Term Sustainability

Strengthening existing community systems so progress continues after we step back.

Partners & Sponsors

Working Shoulder To Shoulder

Local ownership grows stronger when it is backed by the right partners. These organisations walk with us in the field, in the classroom, and in the community.
